Oreo X GoT Anthem :45
To kick off the Oreo x Game of Thrones collaboration, we partnered with Elastic — the creators of the original GoT opening sequence — to create an all-OREO version of the show’s iconic opening credits. The film showcases the Houses of Westeros animated entirely out of 2750 animated Oreo cookies.
We created 4 limited edition GoT Oreos, each cookie featuring a custom embossed sigil from one the Houses battling for the Iron Throne. The GoT Oreos came in a collectible co-branded packaging. Coveted and impossible to find, they became Oreo’s best limited edition cookie in half a decade.
In addition to the custom GoT cookies, packaging and remaking the iconic title sequence; the partnership extended through a site where fans could pledge loyalty to one of the four cookies and a fully integrated social campaign with live responsive Tweets based on the events of the Season’s final episodes.
